Terms of Service

1. The service

PHPGuard is operated by RoboTech (studio.robotech.si). It provides a free, unauthenticated external scan of a domain you submit, and a paid subscription service that continuously monitors servers you connect via our agent (security, dependency, and resource checks) and alerts you to issues. 2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials and agent tokens confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings; see our Privacy Policy for what that does with your data.

3. Acceptable use

You may only scan or monitor domains and servers you own or have explicit permission to test. You may not use the service to probe, scan, or otherwise target infrastructure you don't control, attempt to circumvent its abuse protections, disrupt the service for other users, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section without notice.

4. Free scanner

The free external scan is provided for informational purposes only. It is not a complete security audit, does not guarantee your site is secure, and results may be incomplete or inaccurate. It is rate-limited and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans (currently Pro and Agency) bill monthly in advance and renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then.
• We don't provide partial refunds for a billing period already in progress, except where required by law.
• If a payment fails, we may pause monitoring for the affected account until it's resolved, as described in our billing settings.
• We may change our prices; if we do, we'll give existing subscribers reasonable notice before it applies to their next billing cycle.

6. Monitoring agent and data

Our monitoring agent runs on servers you control and only sends the data described in our Privacy Policy — it is built to never transmit secrets such as the contents of your .env file. You're responsible for only installing it where you have the authority to do so.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that monitoring will catch every issue, that alerts will always be delivered, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, RoboTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll post the update here and, where reasonable, notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
